Boredom

Boredom

A Poem by Boring~Potato

Boredom creeps in like a thief in the night,

Stealing joy and filling my mind with blight.

I search for something to fill the void,

But nothing seems to bring me any joy.

I try to paint, to read, to write,

But nothing seems to make it right.

The days drag on, the hours slow,

Boredom is now my greatest foe.

I long for something to spark my soul,

To help me once again feel whole.

But for now, I sit and wait,

For boredom's grip to dissipate.

I know that soon the tides will turn,

And once again my passion will burn.

But until then, I'll bide my time,

And try to find some peace of mind.
