Hero

The guns will snap. The bombs will fall. 

But you, brave one, still headed the call

to protect your country, the land of the free,

•no matter what the task may be. 

 

•You left your home to go to war

 

•where many men have gone before. 

 

•Left your friends and family there

 

•and went to where

 

•the battle was, the fight that shows,

 

•you are a real hero.
