I miss you more than you'll ever know, 

It feels like life has lost its glow... 

Everything is cold and dark as night, 

You're my one and only light... 

I want you back so badly, 

Without you i just sit sadly... 

Nothing feels worth it anymore, 

You're all that I adore... 

I love you and only you, 

But I miss you so much too... 

I can't live, alone, apart, 

Missing you just hurts my heart... 

Please come back, my love, my light, 

Make it day instead of night...

Make me happy by being here, 

All I want is to have you near...

Tender and personal, the combination of the two strengthen the emotion behind this write. When someone we cherish is gone, either for a long while or forever, the road once familiar becomes that much harder to walk. Thanks for sharing.
