A tail of deceit

You don't know me. You never have and you never will. I can become anything or nothing, depending on my mood. Your best friend or your worst enemy. Yes, that is me. I pour words of love like a waterfall. Then wait at the bottom to watch them slam into the rocks. You think you see me, but you don't. Behind my smile I can be loathing Or have no emotion at all. My anger can burn you or bring you back to life. The thoughts in your head are the ones that I place. And the secrets that you think you know Are the secrets I want you to believe. A world unto myself, You can only explore that which I allow you access. Diving in is not the best way for you to discover that which you seek in me. So tread carefully lest your soul be trapped in me. For I am a force of no equal, A life of love or one of absolute hell. The rewards are great for the worthy. I am a puzzle, an enigma you may never know. Try to define me, only stupidity will show. I mock the very idea of the status quo. To understand me is to understand the world, Fore the puzzle is a within the gaze of a crow. Next time you've "got me all figured out" While you're headed North Avians migrate South
