No Greater Love
A Poem by
Light
i think it's really good! you should read it! i should be writing a 10 page paper, but what-the-hell!?!
No Greater Love (Decmeber 2010 ) Oh old, brokenAnd loathsome hag Of poisonous breath And surreptitious hand. Banished from Eden And all bless'd lands. Oh old, loathsome And broken hag. Oh fie! Flimsy And faltering man Of insipid tongue And most wretched plans; Falling from grace With works of sand. Oh fie! Flimsy And faltering man. Oh, lamenting woman
And repenting man
I can think of n o greater love
Than that, between Poisoned men and
Women of mud.

The words in this are very powerful, "broken hag", "faltering man", "poisoned men and women of mud"! Absolutely creative and interesting perception on adam and eve! And I loooove the picture

'I can think of no greater love
Than that, between

The ending is beautiful The poem leads you on, and then you marvel at the ending. Well done!

I really like this! Love the style of this and really like the first stanza. A really well written piece.
- and writing this was probably a more enjoyable use of your time than that paper :D

"...no greater love / Than that, between / Poisoned men and / Women of mud"
Utterly intriguing - a very interesting combination indeed - the heart will not be prescribed in love...
