Empty Whispering

Empty Whispering

A Poem by Light
"

an old poem i found. i ,literally,completely redid it, but kept it in the same spirit i had when i made it!

"
Empty Whispering (December 2010)
My past father
Told me nothing.
Only empty
Whisperings;
Echoing, presently
In my vaulted mind.

A blank page
Unscribed with
Transcribed notions
Of hopelessness.

Sanctified nonsense;
A glorified lexicon.
Dressed in holy writ
Proclaiming knowledge
From meaningless sleeves.

False understanding.
Nothing begets nothing
And nothing I will be.
And I let nothing ring.
Through the corridors
Of metaphors and
Metaphysical  me.
And see if I
Cannot become
Truly divine in being.

i am not sure if i got what you wanted to convey with those "nothings" but yea...it appears to me that this nothing holds something very precious inside it...perhaps because everything that you learnt or did was a result of this partitular nothing in your life... perhaps its the story of a journey through the endless roads where your self-belief is your silent alibi....

it made a nice read anyways.!

With the whole piece revolving around "nothing" (which I must say, that compels me to perceive it as something :P) and then you coming out in the end saying "and see if I cannot become truly divine in being".... wow. I'm not sure that I fully understand the way you intended, but the feeling this poem gives off is incredible. Great write.
