Spirit of the Setting Blaze

The bleeding petals of a rose unfolds,

 Like desperate hands blossoming,

 Spreading their love unto a future unknown,

 From unwritten scriptures in the book of sorrows.

 In showers of rain, the angels baptized the earth,

 To nourish our souls, to quench our thirst. 

 Light a torch to be held up high,

 And ignite the sky to watch the sun arise.

 When the rainbow died, the truth remained,

 That eternal life breeds from love and pain.
