The Angel
You find him when you need him most,
he appears from nowhere, a friendly ghost.
He listens to all you have to say,
and through him all your troubles fade away.
In the darkest worst hour of despair,
he'll show you love, honesty, and a lot of care.
He'll not burden you with his own tainted grim,
for to him, this is about you, not him.
He's no longer human, he's just an angel,
and he'll tend to you, if he is able.
Your pain is gone, you've overcome,
with the help of this little one.
You'll forget him soon enough,
you're back on your feet again and you are tough.
He wasn't meant to find everlasting love in this world,
returned love and joy is something he'll never hold.
He knows better than to get too close,
for that is how he'll be hurt the most.
But once again his heart starts calling,
and he doesn't know how to stop the falling.
Thank GOD for the angels of this earth,
for without them life would be full of Dearth.
But become one someday, and you will see
just how hard life can be to be me.
