Perfect CorruptionA Poem by BrianLoveThis is a sonnet about the women in my life who give themselves up to jerks while I stand there helplessly. The spotless woman I see before me, Standing firmly with her feet set apart The day I relish, when her eyes I see To describe her figure, where shall I start?
On the pinnacle of her head fashions, Purity as her bejeweled crown Her silky and lovely skin she rations Because modesty is her graceful gown
Sadly, today, by her I was not seen Herself she fed to the barking canine, Who shredded her fair gown to smithereens, And caused the cute crown to be misalign
She still refused to see me, her true love, So I lie down here, weeping up above
