Meant to be

Another poem. Actually, this one is not for my ex. Surprise Surprise

If you could walk a half a mile in my very own shoes

You would see the life I live is not the one I’d choose

If I could have it any way, I’d take you back for sure

If I got to choose my life, you’d be standing at my door

I love you more that words can say and I only wish you’d see

That all I have to give is yours, that we were meant to be
