Mechanical AdvantageA Poem by Brittany
Bones pull down with the weight of gravity- and intervals of atrophy leave us rusty knuckled, bent backed, and sallow cheeked
Eyes grow dim and lose sight of that sparkle only innocence and tenderness can bring
The things we build succeed us, because
flesh is always a reminder of mortality
