Isolated

Isolated

A Poem by Brittney

Stop
Do you see me?
I'm here
Alone
Isolated
Four walls
Intimidating
Closing in
Slowly

Wait
Are you listening?
The tick
Tock
Is frightening
Time
Is disintegrating
Only
Constantly

Pause
Can you feel it?
The ambiance
Is shifting
Chills
Overcome skin
I'm lonely
Waiting..
Waiting..

Stop.
Stop!
Stop!!!
Can you see me?

I think
I'm
Disappearing

You can hear the voice in this one... as the reader you feel the urge to just let her out of the isolation... but you portray this well within the lines of this verse...
