A Divine Dance

The flow of words,

The strumming of the guitar,

Simple keys on the piano.

 

A step to the right,

A step to the left,

The sway of my hips.

 

The current of my arms,

Closed eyes and open ears,

Time slows down.

 

I am lost,

Lost in the divine,

My soul dances.

I am the same way. I am part of this group called the ecstatic dance group that focuses on just that. Having dance as a moving meditation and just allowing your body and energy to flow naturally with the music and your spirit. But I know I have some new poems I wouldn't mind seeing what you think of.
