The God Man

The God Man

A Poem by Malcolm J. Watt
"

What is revealed to the dancers.

"

The God Man

The greatest Man

Revealed in arrogence

Before his adulation

Announces in the rude

His flesh above the Throne

Of the everlasting creation.

His claims superior

To all the pretenders

Marked by cruel Empire

Destroying without restraint

The fabric of life

Across the mortal world.

In the exultation of self

Me, Myself and I

In full command

Of an all seeing

Single round eye

He bitterly casts down

The nights bright stars

From the very skys

That in silence

Mocks and defies

The works of his corrupted imagination.

Aye-Aye-Aye!

Few real God's men in this world. Maybe wealth and power is the god to most? I like the strong statements in this poem. Open the door to thoughts and vision.

Destroying without restraint"
No weakness in this amazing poem. I did like your ending.
