The Mathematician

This entry is about my Pre-Calc teacher, Mrs. Fox.

One of the travelers that you shall meet

Is rather amusing, so keep your seat.

She loves her numbers, but does have trouble

Recalling the process on the double

Early in the morning or when in pain.

Ask anyone; she is not quite that sane,

But, putting that aside, she is rather

Charming and sweet, so that doesn’t matter.

At times, the sarcasms drips from her lips

But she is always ready to give tips

About the hard subject she dearly loves.

Her new books she treats like cute little doves.

She will yell at anyone who dares to

Abuse them like the seniors often do.

Her duty is the reason she now goes

To help the poor. She does reap what she sows.

I do hope that more good will goes her way

And I pray her sharp back pain does not stay.
