The Scientist

This entry is about my Chemistry 2 teacher, Mrs. Malott, a.k.a. Mrs. Mole-lot.

The next traveler you meet makes me smile,

In my own opinion she does have style.

No matter what is said by the Nighthawk,

Her appearance does not mean we should mock

Mrs. Mole-lot, the Mayor of Moleville.

Her beloved toy mole is missing still,

But she still has that wonderful number,

That haunts her followers in their slumber.

That monstrous exponential figure

We know as well as our own signatures.

The topics she teaches would make most cry

Mind-boggling even if we do try.

Dangerous mixtures of math and logic

That could make anyone dread her topic.

Competitive is she in almost all,

Unwilling to back down instead of fall.

That spirit carries her now through the game.

Losing matters not to her all the same.

It is the glory and fun in that task

That she adores and often tries to mask.
