Patience

Patience

A Story by Burr the Story Sorceress
"

I wrote this at an awful hour Sunday morning. It is a random stroke of brillence.

"

She sat, still as stone, watching and waiting, hoping. She said something and He turned toward her, answering. She smiled, happy that He was talking to her, that small little thing bringing her joy. She replied, eager for more, but He said nothing more.

She sat still, waiting, patient, knowing He would turn to her and smile at any moment. She didn't move for a while, breathing so slowly and calmly that it looked as if She wasn't breathing at all. She waited. She picked up a book she had read many times before, one of her favorites, but peaked at him every couple of minutes. She considered calling out again, but knew He would answer as soon as He could. She waited and watched, ever patient, ever unwavering.

She went about her day, working on this and that, always keeping him in sight, always waiting patiently. She knew he wasn't ignoring her; He wouldn't do that. He was busy working or maybe He had fallen asleep again.

That brought a small smile to her face. He fell asleep so easily. He was always so tired, the stress and pressure of his life taking a lot out of him. Later She would distract him for his troubles, make him smile and laugh, but He would come to her in his own time. She would not force him.

So She waited and watched, ever patient, ever unwavering, knowing He would reach out sooner or later, willing to wait until then, not wanting to be gone when He reached out. She filled the time with work that didn't need to be done just yet, reading a book She had already read. She didn't mind for She had nothing else to do. So She waited.

He turned and smiled, taking her hand. Her patience had been rewarded. He was sorry for keeping her waiting. She smiled brightly and said that it was alright. They talked and chatted and enjoyed themselves. She was glad She had waited, for if She had not, She would not have received such a wonderful gift as being with him was.

She would wait forever if She had to, but He would never keep her waiting that long.

The second paragraph, you might want to fix the word "peaked" to "peeked". I can guess who this is about, very cute! Love you!

I don't get it.

And capitalizing He usually means "God", or whatever that quazi-theory is.

If it is a love story... I don't get it.
And why is the protagonist useless? Butterflies? Is that really all? There's more to that feeling than being shy. A lot more.

ew love.
lol
But this could be better as a poem, if you get some of the right words down for it.
Where were they at?
It seemed like they floated in space some of the time.

About
I am a kinda loud person who is very blunt. I tend to talk before I think. I go with the flow, most of the time. When I get excited, my stutter comes back with a vengence. I do the best I can and that.. more..
