Basic

A Poem by BuzzyB

I’m a basic poet,

writing more to reveal than conceal.

A skimpy bra of words

often struggles to hold

the ginormous mounds

of emotion wobbling inside.

I don’t like to look in much

weeping flesh fills me with distaste.

Nor do I sit fondling

my existential parts.

I let it surface as and when it must,

so I may flash it to you

when least expected.

I enjoyed this very unusual and imaginative poem. “Nor do I sit fondling my existential parts”. My favorite lines from the poem. That will stick in my mind for quite a while. Well done.

Thank you. Its nice to know you liked it. :)
You can flash your existential parts in public if you so desire. External parts is another story.

I thought that but somehow liked the wording, so let it remain. Thank you Baptist. :)
