RibA Poem by BuzzyBYour flesh, I enmesh. Your heart, I
embrace; your lungs, I softly brace
rising and falling like
the tide. Not lost, nor shattered when taken from your side,
I linger on the
shores of your breath dusk or dawn, in life or
death.
An arch, an anchor, unspoken; a crucible of bone, bruised yet unbroken.
A cradle that holds, even
as it breaks. A cup that brims, no matter what it takes.
In love, forever
flanking you I cling on, in passion fierce and true.
