No Mistake

No Mistake

A Poem by BuzzyB

It's been a couple of days,
and so far, this year has been great,
I truly love how things are.

I’d like to keep it that way,
from this golden start,
to not ever stray.

With all the good the year
has brought in its wake,
I’m looking to leave
little room for mistakes.

So what are the few things
I could do, that wouldn’t be mistakes
for the rest of the year to rue?

With zero mistakes I can breathe
and just be, for I’m no mistake
I’m a glowing me.

I can grow in silence,
the kind that feels alive.
Silence is a milieu
where mistakes seldom thrive.

I can listen to the rain,
smile at a memory.
I can soak in the sunshine,
and I can plant a new tree.

About
I'm restless as a bee and as busy. I don't know if I write well or even write but the bug still bites me so I keep at it. Nothing else about me is interesting. more..
