Dark Paradise

I close my eyes, lost in a deep trance

Overwhelmed by seas of desolate dreams.

Shimmering tears reflect in the moonlight

And dance against raging tides of my heart.

 

Your memory sings like a melody

A dark paradise of songs in my thoughts,

Echoing throughout my black vanilla skies

Timeless memories with no escape.

 

Lying at the edge of the ocean shores,

As the waves crash over my burning soul.

Dream bittersweet visions, my end of time

Will you be waiting for me on the other side?

 

Embers of unanswered questions,

Unspoken whispers flow through evening winds

Your voice haunts my mind, and I yearn

There is no one that can compare to you.

great as always, you know what, if they ask me to describe you, i'd probably call you the "poet of natural images", from haikus to longer poems you always provide us vivid images and the best ones are always linked, somehow, to nature, like in this poem in verses 2-3
