My Devil has Emerged

My Devil has Emerged

A Poem by BreedsWithDragons

I saw it there smirking, the devil in myself

making me hate the devil in everyone else

tricking me to believe that there is trust in the wrong.

There aint trust in nothing, not even god.

So why did I follow it down to the boiler room?

hell looked bent out of shaped , as I waited for my doom.

Raspy voices read me all that I have sinned

they seemed quite pleased when all I could do was grin.

I know, I know. It's too easy to be bad.

Laughing as I lie, as if nothing makes me more glad.

A smile stretched across my face, and to hurt you is an urge.

I can deny it no longer, my devil has emerged.

There's nothing in the way I walk, lust melts from my hips

and there's nothing in the way I talk, might I be selfish?

So consumed by this demonish glow.

You can tell by the way they stare, how they do not know.

Or maybe they do, they're just scared to admit my turn.

I'm scared to admit it too, but i've earned these horns.

Not offensive what so ever. Great poem, it really shows that you aren't afraid to reveal yourself to the world (that is if this poem is truly about yourself) and if not it definitely shows the idea of pleasure in doing wrong. Keep up the good work!
