Christmas PrayerA Poem by PANTHERUnderneath the mistletoe we did share a kiss.
Underneath the mistletoe we had a glimpse of bliss. As the children opened presents, I opened up my soul. As you looked into my eyes, we asked ourselves what toll. This in the season of giving, love, rejoicing and now? A time in life we both will share, to make it wonder how? For you do have a husband and I do have a wife. On this day of Christmas, mistletoe changed my life. As I write this down, from memory, of a time so long ago. The thing that I remember most, is we tried to avoid the woe. Looking back, happy flashes of the children laughing, filled with glee. In the twinkle of the Christmas lights, under mistletoe, you and me. A power which I cannot resist, crowds words into my mind. Natural Law is a spiritual law, dwelling there I hope to find. The powers are both light and dark, as were choices that I made. Underneath the mistletoe, I thank God I learned and prayed.
