Saving Thanks

Saving Thanks

A Poem by Cas Miller
"

Not the guy you're thinking of

"

Saving Thanks

Redeem me, o savior

Hallowed God of old

My portion lacks nothing

Yet there’s something I hunger for

This raging growth

Births so many questions

My soul teeming with wonderment

I wish I could take credit

Though it’s you

Who broke my chains

(I never could alone)

Even back when I was me

And now, who am I? To say

I have not been saved?

Thank you, always
