Over two thousand men gave their lives that day at the command of El Generalissimo, just an hombre General Santa Anna as a coward did flee disguised as a peasant, but captured was he The independence of Texas was hard fought and won by men standing their ground and taking action yes, the story of the Alamo is quite a tale it shall be remembered forever without fail a bitter bloody battle that made history it shall not be forgotten, especially by me. © 2008 Carrie MontgomeryReviews
