I've had my time

but still i seemed to fail.

I set the winds to blow

but just refused to sail.

 

I culd have been your man,

If i just controlled my tongue.

but as it stands right now,

its all been said and done.

 

I know you love me

you just find it hard to say.

but i can't break this promise
