Still Feels Over

Another fight, another day
Twisting my words and the things that I say.
You blow up!
It’s over.
Goodbye forever because, no, I don’t want to be friends.
But I say goodbye and you’re left wondering why
It wanted to end.
I was asking why and now I’m moving out
Moving on, because I deserve better and know better and am better.
But you ask me to stay, “to work it out”
And I’m dumb and hopeful and want it to

Wow these words hit deep. The joy of poetry is that it is so revealing when the artist opens themselves up to their art. A catharsis and reality of truth reveals itself. And it is in that truth that you are given choices. To let love go for and better sake, or to continue a path that is stagnant in a cycle of regress and self anger. Thank you for sharing your art.

tough situation described here...I have found through much experience that when it feels over, IT IS...
and it is hard to reverse those feelings on both sides.
