The Brenda Knight Homicide

It was the middle of 2001 when a body was found in the Mattaponi River in King and Queen County, Virginia. 12 years later, it was finally found that the body belonged to Brenda Michelle Gee Knight. To fully understand the case, one must realize just how long her family had been waiting for her to come home. It was Thanksgiving of 2000. No one had realized that would be the last time. Her three children were left without a mother. She was 34 when she disappeared and was later found dead in the river by a canoeist. No one knew where she went, but she never showed up after that.
