As I Stroll Down the Street

As I Stroll Down the Street

A Poem by CW

As I stroll down the street,
The patter of feet,
Snags my musical mind.
Not to disturb, ne'er to destroy,
Nor to tangle, but to unwind.
From the laughter of lovers,
To the fight in Fear's eyes,
I will see through the surface.
I will sing to the skies!!

This piece sings a songful map of how down is the only true way up...
A self-soothing ditty along the way to a livable 'middle' atleast.
It's optimistic, grounded and buoyant - not unlike a berry one might find leaning over a sidewalk one day.
