Her

Her

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

When you and her encounter
It's hard to get past the bouncer
She already has her guard
By the numerous scars
She faced adversity
Protected herself, you see
The inner girl
The inner pearl
From the hurt and pain
From the silence and strain
Be the man that she needs
See her cues and her pleads
Be her saviour
Not the month flavor
Be her hero
Not yet another zero
Be a charmer
Put on your armour
End her blight
Be the shining knight

About
I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
