EpiphanyA Poem by Chenin Marie
I get no relief, not even with sleep. When I try to rest my mind is when it starts to peak. I close my eyes but I can still see, the vivid images that are only for me. I’m bound by my confusion, questioning if my reality is only a delusion. I've come to terms that this life is just one of many that I’ll live. An endless path, where this one ends another will begin. I’m content with my journey and each twist it might take, learning the lesson in every turn and mistake. Each person, each feeling, conversation and story are all there to guide me where I’m meant to be going. I’ll find meaning in most and take them along on this odyssey but the end will be known only to me.
