Faith doesn't always manifest itself as a roaring wildfire.
Sometimes, it can be compare to a small portable heater in a single, quiet room. Outside, the winds are howling. Snowstorms rage. Temperatures fall to zero… to negative ten… to places where breath itself feels fragile. But inside that room, there is warmth. Not because the storm stopped. Not because winter surrendered. But because something small is stronger than the storms raging outside. That is faith. Faith does not have to be the size of a mountain to reach the height of its power. It can begin as a whisper of serenity, a flicker in the chest, a quiet “I will endure” when everything around you says, “You will not.” That tiny ember becomes your iron shield. That gentle calm becomes your fortress. And while the world measures strength by noise and magnitude, faith measures strength by endurance. A small heater can outlast an entire winter. A small seed can split open stone. A small candle light can command an entire room of darkness. That is Faith. Never underestimate the quiet power within you. Faith pulls you forward when doubt tries to drag you back. It anchors you when chaos tries to scatter you. It lifts you when the cold of circumstance tries to freeze your destiny. Faith does not deny the storm, it outlasts it. Faith carries you beyond horizons you cannot yet see. For within that tiny spark lives a force stronger than fear, stronger than despair, stronger than any storm you will ever face. And when winter passes, as it always does, you will rise, not merely warmed… But whole again. Carl Nicolas. © 2026 Carl R Nicolas |
