When Life Hands You Lemons, Make Lemonade.

When Life Hands You Lemons, Make Lemonade.

A Poem by Carl R Nicolas
"

Some truths don’t bend, you can pour all the sugar water in the world over a lemon... but it will still taste sour...

"
Some truths don’t bend,
you can pour all the sugar water in the world over a lemon... but it will still taste sour...

Not everything is yours to fix.
Not every storm is yours to calm...You can love louder,
give more,
try harder,
but you cannot rewrite a nature
that refuses its own change...

Stop wasting your precious energy trying to sweeten a lemon...Some people, some places,
are lessons in leaving...

Don’t waste an existence
trying to sweeten what is determined to stay bitter...The most powerful "lemonade" you can make is removing yourself from what breaks you, walking away, and nurturing your own life instead...

When life hands you lemons...
Just decide what you’re willing to carry,
and what you’re strong enough to leave behind...
Carl Nicolas.

A poem brimful of wisdom Carl. Yep there are plenty of lemons about. I very much enjoyed the share. Thank you.
