Survive by Bending with the Gust.

Survive by Bending with the Gust.

A Poem by Carl R Nicolas
"

I made mistakes, but I did not quit. Where the road bends, I follow. Where it disappears, I step anyway, not because it’s easy, but because I refuse to turn back...

"
I made mistakes,
but I did not quit.
Where the road bends, I follow.
Where it disappears, I step anyway,
not because it’s easy,
but because I refuse to turn back...

Like a bamboo tree, I bend with the gust. I shift my plans, not my purpose. I push my roots deeper, accepting the twists in the journey over the comfort of the moment...

This path was never promised straight lines.
So I chose the long game,
to walk through doubt,
to get ready for the unknown...

Don’t fight the gale"adjust your sails.
Find your stillness in the center, and keep moving forward...

strength is not stiffness"
it is roots growing deeper
when the storm arrives...

So I quiet the chaos,
find stillness at my center,
and take the next step...
And just the next one...
Carl Nicolas.
