Appreciate the Finitude.

Appreciate the Finitude.

Imagine if we knew...If
humanity knew exactly when the final hour would fall, we would wake up...

The clocks would no longer whisper “later.”
They would thunder “now”...

The petty grievances that clutter our lives? The trivial conflicts that break our hearts? We would drop them... They would instantly appear as they are: foolish distractions, luxuries of the supposed endless future...

We live under the illusion of time... That false, seductive promise of another day that allows us to postpone love, to postpone forgiveness, to postpone being our best selves...

Suddenly, the selfish pursuits would burn away, leaving only what is real. Without the safety net of a long life, the frantic rush of humanity would turn into a slow, meaningful dance. We wouldn't fight over the trivial; we would look at the stranger next to us and see them, really see them...

This illusion would shatter,
this quiet lie we’ve believed all along,
that we are owed decades,
that life will stretch patiently
until we are ready to go...

We would spend our final days not in despair, but in an urgent masterpiece of love, reconciliation, and breathtaking, purposeful presence. A "perfect" society would rise from the ashes of our wasted time...
