Darknes Can't Command the Sun to Stay Away.

Darknes Can't Command the Sun to Stay Away.

A Poem by Carl R Nicolas
"

Even the longest nighthas never learned how to bargain with the dawn It does not plead, it does not resist, it simply surrenders...

"
Even the longest nighthas never learned how to bargain with the dawn It does not plead, it does not resist, it simply surrenders...

For even the darkest night will end,
and the sun will rise,
not because we are ready,
not because we understand,
but because time refuses to stand still
for sorrow or for fear...

And so it is with us...

No matter how deeply you fear tomorrow, or how tightly you hold onto the familiar pain, the sun is not waiting for your approval to rise... The sun will rise...

No longing nor fear
can halt the forceful quiet march of time...

Just as the deepest gloom cannot silence the dawn, your temporary struggle cannot endure forever...

The darkness holds no power
to command the sun to stay away...

The natural order of this life is not meant to break you, it is meant to heal you. The sun will rise, and we will try again...

The night always give way...
forced into surrender
by the promise of a new day...

For the rays are never lost,
only waiting their turn
on the horizon...
Carl Nicolas.
