A Road You Never Planned...

A Road You Never Planned...

A Poem by Carl R Nicolas
"

A sudden stumble. A frantic, forced detour. A broken promise. A plan no longer sure. We call it a "wrong turn." A catastrophe. A ruinous mistake in the heart of our history...

"
A sudden stumble. A frantic, forced detour.
A broken promise. A plan no longer sure.
We call it a "wrong turn."
A catastrophe.
A ruinous mistake in the heart of our history...

That crack in the pavement? That’s where the wildflowers bloom...
That shattering of glass? That lets in the light to fill the room...

The twist is not the end of the story...
The detour is a blessing in disguise...Guiding you to where you were meant to tread...you find yourself walking a road
you never planned to take...

So tear up the map.
Let the ink fade away...
Trust the wind,
For it knows the way...The wrong turn was the right one...

Life was never meant to be a straight line.
It bends, it breaks, it reroutes,
not to punish you,
but to reveal what you could not see
from the path you were so certain of...

That missed chance…
that closed door…
that detour you swore was a mistake,
may be the very hand
guiding you toward something greater...

Sometimes,
what feels like a setback
is simply a redirection…
a quiet correction
leading you exactly where you are meant to stand...

So release the grip
on how it should have gone...it no longer fits your journey...

Trust the turn.
Trust the unknown...

For even the wrong road
can carry you,
with unseen purpose, with hidden grace,
to the most right place
you were always meant to find...
Carl Nicolas.
