Before the Empty Tomb, there was a Cross.

Before the Empty Tomb, there was a Cross.

A Poem by Carl R Nicolas
"

Before the empty tomb, there was the silent, shadowed garden... Before the triumphant sunrise, there was the brutal, broken Friday... Before the glory, there was the agonizing surrender...

"
Preparation
always
precedes
revelation...

Before the empty tomb, there was the silent, shadowed garden...
Before the triumphant sunrise, there was the brutal, broken Friday...
Before the glory, there was the agonizing surrender...

We rush toward the light,
don’t we?
We want the sunrise…
without sitting through the night...

We cannot rush to the celebration, for a casual Happy Easter is but a shallow echo of the divine thunder that shakes the foundations of darkness...

Because before the empty tomb,
there was a cross...

Holy Week is not just a reminder; it is an invitation to align the heart to receive the miracle...It is the intentional journey from the cheers of Palm Sunday to the tears of Good Friday...

An invitation to walk slowly…
intentionally…
through the final days of Jesus Christ...

To feel the weight.
To face the cost.
To stop running from the very things
that are meant to transform you...

Without Good Friday, Easter is just a happy story...But with it? It is the transformation of the soul...

A time where you are forced to confront:
sin.
pain.
sacrifice.
the cost of becoming whole...

When you walk the road,
from surrender to silence…
from breaking to burial…
Something shifts:
Easter
stops being a celebration
you attend…
and becomes a transformation
you live...

Resurrection is not just about rising…
It’s about what you were willing
to lay down...It’s about releasing control
when everything in you wants to hold on...

Understand the importance and gravity of the tomb, so that your heart is truly prepared to recognize the light of the Resurrection...

Let it break you,
so it can rebuild you...

Easter is the victory of the journey...

For the miracle is coming...It is
new life...
