The First Heartbeat we ever Trusted…A Poem by Carl R NicolasThe first heartbeat we ever trusted… was our mother’s... There was a woman who stood between us and suffering with sleepless nights, trembling prayers, sacrifice, patience, and unconditional love...
The first heartbeat we ever trusted…
was our mother’s... There was a woman who stood between us and suffering with sleepless nights, trembling prayers, sacrifice, patience, and unconditional love... She carries pain without complaint. Endures storms in silence. Protects with a strength the world rarely sees. Forgives beyond reason. Nurtures without keeping score. And gives pieces of her soul away simply to see her children smile... In the presence of your mother, you find a priceless sanctuary that does not betray the heart... If life ever grants you the blessing of a loving mother’s presence, hold it close. Because there are treasures on this earth money cannot buy, time cannot replace, and words can never fully describe... Do not wait for one designated day to honor the woman who carried your fears, your pain, and your very breath within her... Celebrate her in the ordinary moments. In your respect. In your patience. In your gratitude. In your presence. In your kindness. In the way you remember her sacrifices long after the world forgets them... To every mother, every guardian, every source of light around the world: Your love is the heartbeat of humanity... And today, in this beautiful month of May, we honor every mother around the world, the women who became light for others even while carrying their own burdens... Happy Mother’s Day to every mother whose love continues to heal, guide, protect, and keep humanity alive... Carl Nicolas. © 2026 Carl R Nicolas |
