Dusk

This is a poem describing the ancient conquest of the Celtic people.

'r awyr ydy yn adfeilio , 'r Briddo ydy yn agor ,
'r aig ydy yn arwyrain a yn llethu ,
Hidlwn achos ddiddosrwydd , ble mae ddim ,
'r Eryr wedi d , a enillodd.

 

Dusk

 

The sky is falling, the Earth is opening,

The sea is rising and overwhelming,

We run for safety, where there is none,

The Eagle has come, and he has won.
