I like the change of pace,too. I can relate to it.Your word choice suits the poem.Nice!

This is wonderfully frantic. The word choice in the first stanza sets up what I expected to be a rather slow paced poem, especially given the brevity. But from there, you go 0-60 in .1 seconds and floor it through the end. I felt like I read the whole thing in less time than it might have taken me to snap my fingers. Well done!
