She's a Raconteuse

She's a Raconteuse

A Poem by Capaneus

    She’s a raconteuse

    And she’s on the loose

Wonder what story's on the way to me

    Patiently

    I wait to see

    A pregnant pause

    And a hanging stair

Another recollection outta top left air

    How’d she dare

    Oh well

    All's fair

It gets too hard to care

    And we’re headin there

    So she writes a line

    And then she reads

    But I got needs

    So she reads appeased

    That’s my girl

    My main squeeze

    She’s a three ring circus and I’m a trapeze
