Lights and Death

Lights and Death

A Poem by Captain Ugly
"

A topograph

"

Lights drape my shadowy chamber.

Tatters of a hope now shredded.

Memories of life embedded.

Illusions brought on by confusing dreams.

Luminary haunts; not cognizant beams.

Trickling remembrances of dammed streams.

My, once empty, hopeless sepulcher

now alive with late burning overtures.

Lights rape my sympathetic somnolence.
