Brave

In you I see hope for the future

As our spirits start to rise

In you I see a deterrmination

And a will to stay alive

In you I see a sense of freedom

That calls to all men free or slave

But the greastest thing I see in you

Is brave

 

In you I see a new day dawning

In you I see hope built to last

In you I see a dream and vision

That's not hindered by the past

In you I see the strength to stand

When the future may seem so grave

But the greatest thing I see in you

Is brave

 

In you I see the hopes of others

As you carfully carry thier world

Protecting each one from a world of dangers

As each one in your hand is held

In you I see each one excelling

From the teaching to each you gave

But the greatest thing I see in you

Is brave

 

In you I see a helping hand 

When the road is tough and long

In you I see an encouraging word

That calls to all to carry on

In you I see a strength of spirit

And not the power that people crave

But the greatest thing I see in you 

Is brave

 

In you I see a passionate fire

In you I see a burning flame

In you I see a need for change

So that things won't be the same

In you I see a voice that's calling

To change the way we all behave

But the greatest thing I see in you

Is brave

 

In you I see an amazing person

In you I see all these things

The words you speak the things you do

And the hope to many that this brings

And in you I see the truest friend

And thank you for the time you gave

In showing many different things

The greatest of which is brave

I love this poem. Please corect the line- As you carfully thier world. I need to know exactly what you wrote.
As always this piece is sensitive and has deep feelings of the strength you see in your friend. All the attributes that BRAVE IS ....is there; determination, a passionate fire and a strength of spirit. That which is called BRAVE gives hope and encouragement to others to go on. The wisdom to know that change is needed and the fierce spirit to do all to make the necessary changes.

These are my favorite lines, however the
entire poem was very loving and honoring
of friendship -- showing great admiration
and affection. Indeed a blessing to find
such a friendship in someone as you have
shown here.

This, to me, is an ode poem...a poem that is written about perhaps the single most beautiful and difficult part of any person...bravery. To be brave is to be unselfish and strong, avaialbe and open. This is gorgeous.

You really have looked inside this person/entity to get to know the truth of what is held within. Not many take the time to do such things.... they usually take what's exposed and run with it.
