BECCA'S WISDOM TEETH

My granddaughter Rebecca had 2 wisdom teeth pulled last week, which inspired me start writing poetry again since my husband's death 2 years ago.

Author's Note

i haven't been here for a couple of years, & don't know what's happened to W.C. (all these ads are a writing invasion!!!
i can't seem to publish the way i used to by just draging & dropping a screenshot. The current method via the small 'choose file' don't seem to publish the image size on my computer.
So sorry my poem is so small, hope you can still read it. ➤➤➤ UPDATE: went back today about a week later & everything is back to normal, even the ads seem to be gone 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can relate to this piece...crunching, ear splitting sounds of metal...not very pleasant...then pain...and suffering....welcome to the ad capital of poetry!!! Tried to get them off, and there are ways; some apps will do it....Thanks for sharing

This is funny and probably familiar to most of us. Having had a molar yanked out a couple of months ago, the experience is fresh. Poor Rebecca, though, I wish she hadn't had to go through that.

Dear Carola, nothing pleasant about having teeth extracted. Just reading your poem reminds me and brings back the fear and apprehension. It’s great to see you back on WC.
