Love conquered all

Love conquered all

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

Must know love and kindness to know joy and happiness.

"
Love conquered all

Lovers drowning in the amorous of sweet kiss, long embrace and
the long dances where love grow like flowers in the Spring.
They know. Love conquered all.

I write down name of friend and family members gone from my life.
I smiled, remembering their laughter, their smiles and being safe in
the warmth of their homes. Safe places for my heart today. They taught me.
Love conquered all. No-one can walk alone and know a happy life.

The wise ancient Poet wrote. "Who can limit love."
Virgil knew over 2000 year ago. We are nothing without knowing love.

Love can be a riddle. Make us dream of forever than swim in the bitterness
of goodbye. Should we not love?

The solstice of a few days in the safety of love.
Is worth the chance to dance, to whisper to your sweet lover.
'You are so beautiful" and to hold on tightly trying to make the
nights of love permanent and sweet.

Love conquered all my friend.
If we open the doors of life with love and kindness.
This world would understand we are the same.
This world would be a better place.

Thought-provoking and deep, as always. How many countless dreamers/poets/lovers ask these questions towards starry skies and try to define love with words...Love will always be, that one thing we cannot quite fully grasp and yet we all wish we could drown in it. Whether we invented it or it was here all along, it is what makes us so beautiful as humans. It is what keeps us going, hoping, hurting, then hoping again.

Yes, love can be a riddle. We might really understand...but we feel it...and we hope and dream even for the impossible. There are times we ask ourselves, "Why do we love anyway?"

This is another amazing piece. CP. Thank you for sharing.

Now~a~days, everybody talks, writes n blah blah about love. Even today's people're so mad n blind about love. I know, love's must in life but I do believe either that we become an addicted to love which's very harmful for our health. lol Love's not just "Amorous" desires, love's very special. What we think of love's not love but lust cus, we became so hungry of it because it gives us what our hearts want. That's all! But what you defined in this poem's the combination of both love n lust n which's appreciable because your words don't make this poem erotic n love's pure not vulgar. This poem's a combination of ever drop of love!

so straightforward and symphonic! my friend! you have shown that a piece of poetry need not be laced with a complex web of words to gather appreciation but be mantled with the sublime simplicity of a common man displaying his views about one of the infinite truths of life! love touches everyone, conquers all and lays down the path life needs to tread on...SO TRUE MATE! FEELS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TO HAVE INDULGED IN YOUR FLAMBOYANT CREATIVITY....

Thank you Satyam. Old age make us wiser.
This is an amazing poem, Coyote! (And the first of yours that I've read...I found it under the "new poem" list.) I agree...love conquered all. In ultimate reality, I believe that love is all there is (and that fear is the absence of love).

If you don't mind, I have some minor grammatical critiques (which I'm offering out of love). In the second line, where you say, "Lovers drowning in the amorous of sweet kiss," I would replace "amorous" with either "amorosity" or "amour." It's basically the same idea, just a different tense.

Then, in the 2nd stanza, first line, "I write down name of friend and family members gone from my life," I would put "I write down name[s] of friend and family members..."

And for consistency, I would keep the whole poem in the past tense, as in "I wrote down names of friend and family members," to go with "I smiled, remembering their laughter." In keeping with that, in the last stanza, I would say, "If we open[ed] the doors of life with love and kindness/This world would understand we are the same."

All that being said, I still LOVE the poem as a whole, and think it has a wonderfully peaceful and beautiful message. So a few grammatical errors don't take away from that very much. In love and kindness, I say, "Keep writing...and live in love!" Thank you for sharing this work with me.

No problem! It was a pleasure to read!!
You had me with the first stanza John and brought it full circle with the last. You always tell a grand story and have a great message in your poetry my friend, you've learned many lessons in your lifetime or so it seems. Love is a riddle, yet conquers all, go figure indeed. Another awe inspiring read from your pen.

Thanks Coyote, muchly appreciated.
Love maybe not an easy word for me
isolation, so I starve myself away from love
much of a lie, I assume it was never meant for me.

The beauty of your words, surpases through my cords
I believe in love like what you meant it to be.
