Where are you?

Where are you?

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

We lose people and we learn we need them.

"
                                  Where are you?

Do you remember me?
Do you think of me on the lonely nights?
Was I just a small spark waiting for the real volcano?

You made me crazy once.
Made me believe I was special.
I dream of you today in the short red dress and red scarf.
You dancing freely and unafraid in the streets of Paris.
You were my only love and I was enough to make you happy.

I dreamed you were laying in my lap and your eyes shining like the Fall full moon,
telling me I was your only need and want.

I do the dead-man prayer.
My  beautiful Katie. Where are you tonight?
I was locked-up in a self-made prison.
Thinking of you and things I cannot have.
Where are you my love?
All I can do is send forget me not roses in words.

I'm dancing in my self-made madness.
Madness of wishing upon the first star and tossing pennies into the wishing wells
hoping for one sweet kiss and embrace.

I made a wish with a four leaf clover. I asked the Gods.
Tell sweet Katie, I love and need her. Please make her life complete.
She is kind and sweet. She need to know real and true happiness.

Love is fair. A thousand or million miles is the same.
Keep me from you. Somethings are too beautiful to be held by me.
Please beautiful Katie dance, sing and enjoy life.

Thank you my friend.

Powerful and poignantly pen'd Coyote...

I do the dead-man prayer.
I'm dancing in my self-made madness.

My two favorite lines, but the entire poem is amazing in its longing and reminiscing sentiment, another perfect story within your poetry my friend....

Sigh, you and your love poems make me happy and sad all at the same time. I could be wrong, but is that red dress in reference to one of your other works?

This made me feel what true love is. But when that love leaves us that is the greatest pain for us to undergo. Love this one.
