A safe place to goA Poem by Coyote PoetryAlisa Fineman. A California coastline folk singer. A woman with a beautiful voice and kind heart.A safe place to go I'm dreaming of Big Sur. I'm wanting to be at the River Inn. Listening to good music and drinking the good wine. The California coastline saved my life once. I found a kind woman name Alisa Fineman and many kind people. Her gentle song and hopeful words make me feel. I was okay. She called me the street Poet. A honored name to me today. She told me. You are going to be okay Johnnie. No easy life for anyone. Come sit with me. She held my hands like a old friend. Caressed my forehead like a child. She told me. You can't hold on to hate. You must know peace. I followed her show for three years till I departed California. I helped her unload her gear and found peace in her sweet voice. She treated me as a friend. Today I listen to her music. Her voice take me back to where I learn to laugh again. Thank you dear Alisa Fineman. My kind Angel found on the long road. Coyote/John Castellenas © 2014 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
