The feather
Once I wanted to be king of the world. I wanted wealth and things of value.
I was led to a simple place and I was taught by you.
Wealth is a jealous wife. Things of value will hold you down.
I watch you blow kisses into a free feather and you told me as the
feather danced in the wind. Real wealth can’t be bought. True wealth
is having a soft hand holding your hand and a gentle embrace in the the
darkness of the night. I brought you near and I knew your words were true.
I thanks you and brought you into a embrace and I whispered. You are my
diamonds and gold, my love.
