                    The feather

Once I wanted to be king of the world. I wanted wealth and things of value.

I was led to a simple place and I was taught by you.

Wealth is a jealous wife. Things of value will hold you down.

I watch you blow kisses into a free feather and you told me as the

feather danced in the wind. Real wealth can’t be bought. True wealth

is having a soft hand holding your hand and a gentle embrace in the the

darkness of the night. I brought you near and I knew your words were true.

I thanks you and brought you into a embrace and I whispered. You are my

    diamonds and gold, my love.

If only Midas could be as wise as you, his story would have a more positive end. This was truly wonderful and heartfelt. I like the mystique you create with your every female protagonist. And this one is like a Native lover of birds, freedom, feathers that bring luck, and true values like love and intimacy.

A precious gift of a simple embrace, a soft hand held in the darkness goes a long way , indeed true wealth is all of that and so much more than mere material riches..very well expressed with loving emotions

Thank you Fran. The simple gifts are the best gifts.
It has an American Indian feel to me . They who respected nature, animals, trees and love. It's the title feather and the picture that sent me on this path. great read!

What is the use of money if you don't have anyone to share what it CAN buy. This was beautiful and in true Coyote form, love it.
