The color red The sun had fallen into the western sea. The TV is off. You had bathed and put on your favorite red negligee. I heard your sweet voice requesting my attention. I went to you and you smiled. You asked me. Are you too busy to spend time with me tonight? I see the perfect red upon tender and willing skin. I smiled and I told you. You are everything to me, my love. Your beautiful face and perfect body of sun-kissed skin is all I need and want. Coyote/John Castellenas © 2015 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
